The whole thing would've put me into an "if I can't get the fire dep't to do anything, then I will do it myself! (Tend to be somewhat impulsive), LOL! I would've gotten my two fire extinguishers from the house, without my husband knowing about it, since he is an extreme opposite of me- not a risk taker at all; and from a safe distance, doused that pole with the entire contents!
